She was previously dance critic at the Evening Standard and dance editor at Time Out and has written for The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Times, 1843, TES, Metro, The Stage, Easyjet magazine, Sinfinimusic.com, Dance magazine, Dance Gazette and
many other publications, on the arts, education, travel and TV.
Her book, Being a Dancer, is a compilation of advice from some of the biggest names in dance, published by Nick Hern Books,
She worked on the BBC arts series The Culture Show and now produces, directs, edits and occasionally presents short-form video for the web.
A proud Geordie, Lyndsey studied music at Sussex University and now lives in east London, where when not at the theatre, she can be found dancing round the kitchen with her baby son.
